Lake Louise Pipestone Waterline Crossing – Banff National Park

Project involved the installation of a new watermain across the Pipestone River in Lake Louise, AB. The watermain will provide increased flow and redundancy in the system to improve service and fire suppression capabilities.

- Concrete and asphalt removal and patching.
- Erosion and sediment control.
- Traffic control.
- Landscaping rehabilitation.
- Topsoil stripping and haul offsite.
- Clearing and grubbing.
- Remove creosote boards and asbestos pipe.
- Supply and install 300mm stainless pipe and 300mm PVC watermain with insulation, HDPE outer jacket, heat tracing system and valves.
- Supply and install 600mm metal casing pipe and thrust/anchor blocks.
- Environmental management (50-page EPP).
- Supply and installation of structural steel support system.
- Supply and install shallow utility ducts.
- Electrical work including breakers, heat trace controller and junction boxes.
- Removal and reinstallation of streetlight bases, poles and lights.
- Hydrovacing around building and area.
- Install granular sub-base and base.
- Asphalt concrete pavement, curb, gutter and sidewalk.
