Construction of a new centrifuge wastewater treatment plant and upgrade of the existing centrifuge wastewater treatment plant in Sooke, BC on Vancouver Island.

Scope Items

• Assume responsibility of owner-supplied sequencing batch reactor (SBR) 3 equipment, sludge thickener, polymer system, and sludge feed pump via Novation Agreement.
• Assume responsibility of owner-supplied sludge thickener discharge pump via free issue.
• Construction of a new SBR3 tank and installation of SBR3 equipment.
• Construction of EQ tank and installation of EQ tank pump.
• Construction of thickener platform and chemical room with thickener package equipment installation including thickener, thickener sludge feed pump and polymer system.
• Construction of WAS tank.
• Installation of a new domestic water lines with emergency eye wash/shower and electric hot water tank in the polymer room.
• Installation, programming and commissioning of instrumentation and controls for the above-mentioned equipment.
• Testing, commissioning of all equipment and process areas and switch over to District ownership.
