The renovation and expansion of the existing federal building in Dease Lake, BC. The area of existing building that will be renovated is approximately 307 m2 (3,304 sq ft) and the area of the addition is approximately 509.5 m2 (5,490 sq ft) for total area 816.5 m2 (8,794 sq ft).
The newly renovated and expanded building will be a single-storey building, which will allow for logical operational flow throughout the facility while keeping the cellblock and support areas reasonably separated.
Various levels of security requirements are integrated into the design, which require specific security expertise and collaboration with the client subject matter experts.
