Interior upgrade of the Smithers Law Courts focused on full fire alarm system replacement, building electrical renewal, and safety retrofits to the east and central stair systems.

The work spans approximately 4,732 m² across two occupied floors and includes replacement of critical life-safety systems, upgrades to electrical distribution, and code-compliant modifications to stairwells and guardrails.

Construction was executed within an active courthouse environment, requiring detailed phasing, temporary relocations, continuous protection measures, and strict coordination with building operations, security protocols, and public access.
