Replacement of the existing unit substation and UPS systems at FRCC, including implementation of temporary power infrastructure and staged installation to maintain continuous operation of the occupied facility.
The work included installation of a temporary outdoor transformer and distribution system, demolition and replacement of the existing substation and UPS equipment, and integration with existing electrical systems. Civil and structural works included excavation, duct bank modifications, concrete works, and permanent shoring associated with enlarged access openings.
