President & CEO
With over 30 years of construction experience, Scot has served a wide range of industrial markets across Canada. He began his career in the heavy industrial mechanical sector, delivering complex, and often remote projects within the mining, pulp and paper, OSB, and chemical processing industries.
Today, Scot leads an exceptional team at Industra, supporting clients from multiple office locations and active project sites across the country. His leadership is grounded in decades of hands-on industry experience, a commitment to safety and quality, and a passion for building strong teams that deliver results.
Rob Brydon
Chief Operations Officer
Rob is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Industra, bringing over 25 years of diverse, hands-on industry experience to the executive leadership team.
Rob is an inclusive, collaborative leader who takes great pride in the continued growth of the company and our shared successes.
As the COO, Rob helps steer the corporate strategy and manages the leadership team at Industra, delivering complex infrastructure projects throughout Canada.
George Gasparro, BBA. BA, CPA, CMA
Chief Financial Officer
George Gasparro is the Chief Financial Officer of Industra and brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, operations, and strategic leadership. He oversees the company’s financial strategy, capital planning, risk management, accounting, and operational performance.
George has held senior leadership roles within the construction industry, where he successfully led initiatives focused on revenue growth, cash flow optimization, project financing, and operational efficiency. He has extensive expertise in project-based accounting, contract management, forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, and financial systems implementation.
Since joining Industra, George has played a key role in strengthening the company’s financial position, supporting large-scale project expansion, and enhancing long-term profitability. He works closely with the company’s owners to align financial strategy with operational execution and sustainable growth objectives.
George holds degrees in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Organizational Behaviour, as well as a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Economics, from Simon Fraser University. He is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
Aiden Wong, M.Eng, P.Eng
Vice President, Estimating
A licensed Professional Engineer with both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of British Columbia, Aiden brings over 16 years of experience in the construction and civil engineering industry. Throughout his career, he has contributed to a wide range of civil infrastructure projects through all phases – engineering, preconstruction and project management. In his leadership role, he oversees estimating strategy and proposal planning, delivering accurate, competitive bids that support successful project execution and long-term client value.
Nelson Rodriguez, P.Eng., MBA, PMP
District Manager, Western District
With a Professional Engineer (Civil) designation and an MBA, Nelson offers a unique blend of technical mastery and business acumen. As District Manager for Western Canada, he leverages 25 years of experience across field operations, estimating, and project management. Nelson has a proven track record of delivering complex multidisciplinary projects in hydroelectric, water treatment, industrial and commercial infrastructure. At Industra, he is responsible for driving project excellence, upholding core business values, and mentoring teams to achieve top-tier performance
Austin Lee, AScT, PMP
District Manager, Eastern District
Austin Lee is a results-driven infrastructure leader with more than 14 years of experience delivering high-profile heavy civil and waterworks projects across British Columbia. As Project Director at Industra Construction Corp., Austin plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, strengthening field performance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard of quality.
Austin specializes in complex municipal and industrial infrastructure, including water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs, and critical utility facilities. His portfolio spans design-build and conventional delivery models, with extensive experience managing technically demanding projects in active operating environments, remote communities, and highly regulated sectors.
Recognized for his leadership in the field, Austin connects strategy to execution—working closely with executive leadership, project managers, and superintendents to maximize productivity, control risk, and protect schedules and budgets. His ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams while maintaining strict safety and quality standards has earned him a reputation for delivering challenging projects with confidence and precision.
From greenfield treatment facilities to large-scale retrofits and essential public infrastructure, Austin consistently brings a solutions-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach that drives measurable results for clients and communities alike.
Austin holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, an Advanced Diploma in Construction Engineering and Management, and is a certified Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T.).
Tomas Dapkus
Field Operations Manager
Born in Lithuania in 1980, I’ve built my life around hard work, family, and the construction industry. I’ve been married for 26 years and am a proud parent of three children—two sons and a daughter. I started working in construction at 15, learning the trade through summer jobs with my father. I went on to pursue carpentry, earning my Journeyman Carpenter qualification along with construction management credentials and many other certifications over a 26-year career.
At 21, I moved to the UK, where I lived and worked for nine years before relocating to Canada in 2012, continuing to grow my experience and expertise in the construction field.
Jonathan Unrau, MBA, CRSP
Director, Health, Safety & Environment
Jonathan Unrau, MBA, CRSP is an experienced HSE leader with over 20 years in heavy industry, construction, and mining, serving as Director, HSE and leading the development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive occupational health and safety programs. A Canadian Registered Safety Professional since 2010, Jonathan holds an Executive MBA with a specialty in Health and Safety Leadership and brings advanced expertise in ESG principles, safety management systems, auditing, and risk mitigation strategies. Known for building integrity-based relationships grounded in accountability and professionalism, Jonathan and his HSE team play a key role in maintaining an outstanding safety record across diverse and complex projects.
Charlotte Grimshaw, BA, CPHR
HR Director
Originally from the UK, Charlotte Grimshaw has spent the past 20 years in Canada building a career as a strategic People & Culture leader across construction, technology, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing. With HR and recruitment experience in both the UK and Canada, she brings deep expertise in talent acquisition, organizational growth, workforce planning, and culture transformation within both unionized and non-unionized environments. Charlotte holds a degree in Human Resource Management and a CPHR designation and is known for her collaborative, practical approach to supporting leaders, building strong teams, and creating high-performing workplaces.
Danny Laurence, B.A., M.P.S
Director of Preconstruction
Danny has spent 20 years working in the construction industry on a variety of project types and delivery methods. Specializing in the preconstruction phase of projects, Danny helps get projects started by bridging the gap between estimating and construction, working with subtrades, consultants, and clients to help find efficiencies in the schedule, budget, construction methodology. He has successfully delivered projects using a variety of contract models including lump sum, construction management, design build, and IPD.
Rod Hoffelder
Procurement Director
Rod Hoffelder is a procurement leader with over 17 years of experience across multiple sectors including construction, industrial, mining, steel manufacturing, and automotive. Holding a degree in Business Administration and an MBA in People Management, he specializes in strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships, and procurement transformation. Rod is passionate about building high-performing teams and strong business ecosystems that drive collaboration, operational excellence, and sustainable results.
Greg Gopal, CPA, CGA
Director of Finance
Greg is the Director of Finance with 18 years of experience in accounting and finance, including over 10 years in the construction industry. He specializes in financial operations, process improvement, and building efficient systems that support organizational growth. Greg is known for his collaborative leadership style, attention to detail, and commitment to driving operational efficiency across teams and processes.
Andrew Mooney, P.Eng
Director of Integrated Services
Andrew Mooney, P.Eng., is a Project Director with over 19 years of experience delivering complex commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects across Western Canada. A registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia, he has led major wastewater treatment plants, correctional facilities, high-rise office and mixed-use developments, and municipal infrastructure initiatives. Known for his collaborative leadership style and professional integrity, Andrew builds strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, making him a trusted leader and a key driver of project success.
